Period pains after intimate contact

Hi, I have the mirena coil fitted and it took over a year to settle, after two years my periods have finally got a lot lighter, however I do get light bleeds most weeks (I also have a 3.6cm diameter fibroid), also it can be smelly at times. The most odd experience is when I get intimate with my partner and he touches me inside quite intensely, about a couple of hours after I get period pain (I have it as I type this), this doesn't happen after sex, only when he fingers me (I hate that expression), sorry for directness but don't really know a nicer way to describe it. I have had the coil checked so it isn't like it's moved or anything but why an earth do I get period pains after intimacy it's most bizarre, thank you in advance xx

Since putting this on I have been bleeding fairly heavily like a proper period, I feel totally drained, in bed at 9 every night but still exhausted when I wake up.

I hope someone out there reads this and responds, starting to think this forums a waste of time.

Now this morning I discover I have bled quite heavily while asleep, I am not due a period, in fact I have a bleed most weeks all be it a light one, intimacy encourages it unfortunately.
