Pregnancy symtems 2 wks after period

I had my period 2 weeks ago. Its was a short period. Usually it's 6 or 7 days, this time it was 4 days.  Now two weeks later I'm experiencing nausea vomiting and my breasts hurt. Pregnancy is a possibility. But its very early.  I did two home tests. Both negative. Went to the hospital and it was negative so they sent me home with no resolution.  No blood work was done.  If my body is experiencing these symptoms why is it showing negative results and what can I do to find out before my next period is going or not begin. Not due until the 15th or so of August?

I'm 25 and i have had irregular periods for over a year or so and i have been to my GP and they have sent me for tests for cysts on my ovaries. Everything was fine however i'm still having irregular periods and ive down loads of HPT and have always been negative but this month i have had a period and it was very light and has stopped for two days in between then i start spotting again.... i have now stopped spotting but have extremley sore breasts and  have done for about 2 weeks...i'm feeling sick all the time... is it possibilty i could be pregnant? Ive never had my breasts hurt after a period...always before..any ideas?

usually a pregnancy test will not show an accurate positive result until you are late with your period. i would wait till then and if you still get a negative result and are having symptoms you should see a doctor

I don't believe your symptoms have anything to do with pregnancy. For one, you had a period (implantation bleeding would not last 4 days) and if your home pregnancy test didn't pick up a pregnancy, the hospital's would have. It sounds like the hospital did not see your symptoms as life threatening. Going to a family doctor would probably provide you with much more personal care.

As for speculation. It may be possible that you have simply caught some sort of stomach virus that causes muscle pain. Under your circumstances where pregnancy is not likely, consulting a family doctor with your symptoms may help you find an answer.
Hope this helps
