Random cuts on labia/ Vagina

I am new to this website, but i did find answers and questions helpful. I was diagnosed with Herpes in April. I never have outbreaks except a small "rash" on my butt cheek. I went to the dermatologist and was told it was a fever blister and not to worry. Planned parenthood called me and told me i had Herpes down there too. I never have outbreaks or that i know of because i am never in pain or even have blisters. The past 2-3 weeks i have had very small cuts on my labia and perineum. I put vaseline on it this morning. I do not know if its herpes out break because it doesn't look like your typical herpes outbreak. This is a fine, thin paper cut. Some what itchy but tolerable. I have an appointment on Friday to get it looked at. I wonder if this is a yeast infection of BV?.. Any answers or help would be great, just to ease my mind a bit.

I have an appointment Friday. I took medicine for my herpes and it seemed to clear up. So maybe that was a flair up. It’s just odd because i don’t get the bumps and sores etc. i barely have outbreaks. Just a scary thought.

Hi!!  Welcome to the site!  We're glad you found us.  So, BV is ore like inside your vagina and produces a thin, grey watery discharge that has a foul odor.  The odor is the hallmark sign.  Yeast infections product more thick discharge or lumpy discharge and it itches.  Both can aggravate that area outside where you describe to where there may be paper thin cuts, irritation.  But you'd likely have the other things going on inside your vagina.  I had someone recently tell us and it is a good point that hormonal fluctuations can cause this too.  And with your herpes diagnosis (sorry to hear about that)--  I'm glad it is being checked out this week.  You never followed a typical pattern it sounds like with herpes so you never know.  If the vasoline helps, keep putting it on.  When is your doctor's appointment?
