Even if you have not been sexually active in 6 months, the two STDs mentioned can be dormant for years with little to no symptom at all.
It's one of three things.
If it's flat at the top, it's either a blister caused by genital herpes or it is a simple ingrown hair. If it's a steeple type shape somewhat like a pimple then it's a wart, linked to the HPV virus.
I would suggest sterilizing a pair of tweezers with rubbing alcohol and plucking a few of the hairs that are growing directly above the problem area. This should be no more than ten hair particles. After you've removed the hair clean the area by gently dabbing a cotton ball soaked in hydrogen peroxide onto the area.
If you notice the bump still present after one week then you should make an appointment with your I gynecologist for further testing and treatment.
I gave one as well. Mine is all the way at the top where the lips first start. 2 questions. Is it in a hairy section? And 2. Have you shaved? I think mine is an in grown hair, since it is right where the skin folds. But I do not have a definite answer for you. Interested if anyone has other thoughts.
