So Frustrated and SCARED!!!!!

Hi, hoping someone may be able to shed some light on what i've been going through. I gave birth to my son 5 months ago now.  Since then i've been having nothing but issues.  I had him via csection in June..had what i thought was my first period in August but it was really light. After that i had on and off spotting (just a little when i wiped after using the bathroom pretty much on and off since then.  For the last month i've been in incredible pain.  I have pressure and pain in my pelvic area but the worst pain feels like it's coming from up in my vagina or cervix.  It feels like there's a constant knife sticking in my cervix.  I've been to the ER twice because of the pain..they did an ultrasound and the only thing they saw was a thick uterus lining which they said was normal since i hadn't had a regular period since birth.  Three weeks ago now i went to my regular dr and she diagnosed me with a pelvic infection, just based on symptoms and because i was tender when she pressed right above my pelvic bone.  I've been on antibiodics and while i was on them it seemed to offer a bit of relief but now that i'm done the pain is back and bad again.  After taking the first dose of antibiodics i did have a good heavy period though so i thought that maybe it would have reduced some inflammation enough to allow the blood to flow.  Anyway i'm stumped and i'm so worried the dr. is just going to give up. I've had swabs and everything came back negative. (stds and strep i guess, not entirely sure what they tested for)...anyway does these symptoms sound familiar to anyone?? I'm getting really scared..my mind is now jumping to the "C" word but i'm hoping if that's what it was they would have seen that when doing the csection.  Anyway thanks in advance to anyone who can help.  It's so hard being in pain and trying to care for a toddler and infant. I lose my patience with them so easily and it's breaking my heart. I'm not sure what pain is worse :(

Oh i should also add that it almost feels like something is swollen behind my pubic bone and its very sore in that same area when i cough, laugh or pretty much exert myself at all. I have looked at diagrams of the human body and it almost looks like the pain is coming from where the bladder is located. I don't have any issues using the washroom though and if it was my bladder that wouldn't be causing the spotting i'm having...anyway hoping someone can help
