Sudden breast changes, not pregnant

Hi, Im 39, female, have a 10 year old child & im not pregnant or on birth control. In the last few months I've noticed changes to my breasts that have me concerned. My areolas have gotten a little darker, there's small whitish bumps on them & noticeable holes (hair follicles) all around the areolas . My right breast also seems to be slightly bigger than before. The color change, bumps & follicles suddenly appeared after 39 years! Any ideas on what's causing this would be greatly appreciated!

Just in case it is peau d'orange, have this checked right away.  It can be a sign of inflammatory breast cancer.  I hope it's not that, but it needs to be checked.

Welcome to middle age! :-)  Go ahead and see your gyno anyway, just in case, but on your way home, you might want to purchase something to remove hairs that show up in odd places. :-)  Blessings - Blu
