TTC question?

My question is this. I have been BBT charting and am currently 49 days into my current cycle. I do take 50 mg of oral progesterone everyday per my thyroid doc and that is why I am concerned and inquiring. We tried many times this cycle even once after my OB saw a folicle during an exam. Today I started bleeding. Not heavy like I usually do when I start my period but not spotting either and no clots. Per the instructions from my thyroid doc, I am supposed to go off the progesterone for 4 days once I start my period. I worry that if this is implantation bleeding, that would terminate the pregnancy. I am hoping for some insight. Is it possible that I am pregnant or should I stop taking the progesterone and treat this like a period. Thank you  for your help!

Have you had your thyroid checked? These symptoms are similar to the ones I get when my meds are off.

Hello,
Implantation bleeding does not terminate the pregnancy. It is an indication of zygote getting implanted in the wall of the uterus. For conception, try having intercourse every month around your ovulation days as it is the best time for conceiving. Ovulation is the release of a single, mature egg from a follicle that developed in the ovary. It usually occurs regularly, around day 14 of a 28-day menstrual cycle. The best timing of intercourse in order to conceive is day 10, 12, 14 and 16 (in case of late ovulation) of a 28 day cycle. After intercourse, do not wash immediately and keep on lying for some time. You can also keep a pillow under your buttocks so that semen does not come out. Have plenty of foreplay or use water based lubricants during intercourse.
Drugs like Clomiphene can be used for helping in conception. Consult a gynecologist and get it prescribed.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
