Hi Chanel,is your mother being treated for this such as tests to determine if is age related?Your mother needs to be seen by a neurologist, not her family doctor.I have a daughter who is 33 years old,she is going through the same thing.I do not agree with her doctors response.Every thing that goes wrong with the body can not be age related. Please seek better care for your mother.Good luck to both of you Raven33.
My first thought was poor circulation - which does happen more with old age. Massages would probably help a lot.
i mean, i really have no idea but as soon as i read "tingling toes" i first thought, low/no circulation. can someone massage her feet every now and then? maybe that would help.
im 36 and sometimes i get this in my big toe. it gets tingly and numb. then it goes away. its not as much as youre mother is experiencing. im sure someone will post back w. more info. for you.
My father just had surgery on his vericose vein in his leg which was causing poor circulation to his feet, which would feel like tingling and then they would go numb. Have your mother see a specialist, not the family doc. It does sound like she has some sort of poor circulation.
