UTI symptoms???

i woke up at one in the morning and I was in pain. It felt like I really needed to pee so I went to the loo and it really hurt when i peed. My pee was a light pink colour. This is the first time this has ever happened. I'm very worried that this might be a UTI. I think this is mainly because I don't know the standard precidure for this sort of thing. I haven't been able to get to sleep yet as it feels like I need to pee really bad but I can't. Please help.

I've had a few urinary tract infections and i had similar symptoms i would constantly feel i had to pee but barely a drop would come out. Anyway the last 2 uti's i had went away over night after i took a vitamin c pill. Hope it works for you.

Hi. That definitely sounds like a uti, drink lots of water and cranberry juice to make your pee less acidic so it doesn't hurt as much to pee. And go see a doctor, as you may need to get antibiotics if symptoms don't disappear.

Ignore the may. Damn you autocorrect. You will need antibiotics, better to nip this out of the bud quick before it becomes a kidney infection.
