Unusual bleeding what could this be?

I usually get my period every 28 days which is a pretty heavy flow, including  cramp in my stomach and a dull ache in my thighs but this month when I started what I thought was my period on the 28th day (14th may) it was very light pink and only seemed to be any sign of blood when I wipe after having a wee, it is also very on and off one minute there is pink the next there is clear tissue paper I've still been wearing a pad just in case  but im seeing very little if any blood on it I'm currently on the 7th day of this unusual bleeding and I have no idea what is going on, I have no pain, no cramps, I don't feel any different than usual, I also did take a home pregnancy test on day 5 of the bleeding but it just came back negative, I'm going out of my mind trying to figure what is going on here so if anyone has got any answers please let me know.

Thanks in advance for any replies
