Vaginal Itch-no pain when urinating, discharge, or odor?

So I have a vaginal itchiness and it starts about two weeks ago after wearing a pad for an extended period of time and its gotten better with the use of a yeast infection cream provided by my gynecologist. But, I am away at school and have been unable to go in to see her for an appointment so she can check out the situation. I do not have odor or discharge, and it does not burn when I pee. The itchiness goes away when I use the cream and is no where near as bad as when i first had it. In the beginning it seemed like a rash but now its just a little itchy and im not sure if thats normal or not. but I have noticed that between my labia majora and minora the skin is white and looks like it has a glossy thin layer over it (I thought it was the cream but I realized its the skin) and outside of the white, like surrounding it, is a reddish color. The wast way to explain it is that there is a smaller ring, the white one, and a larger ring, the red one, going around my labia minora. I honestly am not sure if this is normal for me or not, I never really noticed it before so i cant remember. Im not sure if I should be worried but I would like to know if there is anything I should be concerned about and to find a gynecologist here or if this is normal to a yeast infection or a similar type of infection or if its just normal in general?? please let me know i am very confused and stressed about this.

Hm, it's really hard to say but with the itch and that the cream relieves it, If I had to guess, it sounds like you still have a yeast infection.  You may need to take systemic medicine (or a pill) that a doctor can prescribe you.  so, I hate to say it, you need to get back to the doctor.  What about at your school?  Do they have a clinic you can go to??
