Very sharp vaginal pain

I'm 20 years old and I have very sharp pain in the vaginal area toward the left and it hurts to move and walk or do anything. I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend 2 days ago and it was also very painful and sharp and now I feel like it's swollen. I think I may have cut myself but I'm not completely sure how because I felt it slightly before having sex with my boyfriend. I think the sex just made it worse. I'm also bleeding because I started taking a new birth control on july 3 (now july 17) and I've been consistently bleeding since then (i was supposed to start my period on july 3). Is that normal? When will that stop do you think?

I know I don't have an STD and I'm pretty sure I don't have a UTI. It does sting very badly when I go to the restroom and sometimes it just stings without me doing anything. I just really don't know what to do. I've been trying cold compresses and some lukewarm baths but I don't know what to do otherwise. The pain makes me want to cry sometimes it's so painful.

What should I do? I don't really want to go to the doctor, I would rather use efficient home remedies.
