What could cause multiple boils from vagina to buttocks at once?

History: I've recently tested for all major STDs, included herpes and results were negative. I have one sexual partner, who has no symptoms.

Problem: I have several boils developing rapidly between my outer vaginal lips down past the anus and up my butt crack. In the last 48 hours I went from 2 to 8, ranging from pea size to grape size and one that is very sensitive when I sit down. The largest is on my right vaginal lip and now there are two smaller ones above and below it, and one directly across from it on the left lip. There are 3 by my anus and 1 on my butt crack.

My biggest concern is how many I have and their rapid development. Most posts reference having one at a time, yet I have EIGHT and counting. What is happening to me?

I did shave with a razor two weeks ago, when I normally use a trimmer. But I also shaved my legs with the same razor and they are perfectly fine.

The skin is also VERY delicate. There's some slight irritation, but if I scratch just a little, it leaves little cuts that burn like heck when I bath.

PLEASE HELP!

Just in case anyone else comes here and wants the answer...I went to my OBGYN, who said they were boils that spread from one to the other areas when I shaved.

I asked if he would lance the largest ones because they were becoming very sensitive and hurt to sit down. He refused, saying it's best to leave them alone unless they are unbearable; however he would give me antibiotics.

While I waited for my prescription to be filled I purchased a heating pad and laid in bed ALL day applying heat. I also took 3-4 semi-baths, where I sat on the edge of the tub and ran hot water (as hot as I could stand) over the affected areas. That night I took my first dose of antibiotics.

By the next morning, the boils started to shrink! Every day I took my antibiotics, 2-3 semi-baths and applied heat at night before bedtime. It's been a week and all of them are either gone or very small. None of them hurt anymore. The doctor recommended that I do NOT shave at all until they are completely gone.

So heat (as hot as you can stand it) and antibiotics are the answer.

My son in law and my granddaughter both got a bad MRSA infection And it sounds kinda like what they had and they also had it on the right sides of the butt  the dad was admitted to Hospital to have  it lanced. The three year old was treated at the doctors office but is taking a lot longer. So either way you go you have to get this taken care of because MRSA is some bad stuff to get rid off..  Good luck and I'll pray for you to get better .

I just called my regular doctor, who referred me to my OBGYN. But last time I went there and told them about the ONE I had at the time near the anus, they told me to see my regular doctor. I feel like I'm getting the run around. And I need help now.

Wondering if I should go to the ER. I've found 3 more since yesterday; small, but there.
