What other ways can i get rid of a yeast infection?

I just started the nuvaring about a week and a half ago. I was already experiencing yeast infections pretty often. Since the ring it seems worse. I cant get rid of this YI. Ive tried eating yogurt a lot, eating less sugar, probiotics, vitamin d, putting apple cider vinegar where it itches. I have also tried monistat and the pill my doctor gave me for yeast. Im experiencing a watery discharge. Im 16 and my mom wont help me and i dont have many other options for birth conrtol. She doesnt know im on any. The ring is one of my last options and i dont kniw what to do.

So, that is a big pain and I"m sorry you deal with it.  Chronic yeast infections DO plague some women.  Here is some information and maybe more than you wanted . . . but you know that our body is regulated by hormones, right? Do you see anything cyclic in your yeast infections?  Most women do start to notice a pattern of flare ups.  Start recording this so you have your own record. Our hormones fluctuate with things like an increase in progesterone rather significantly which begins the process of your getting your period. This changes your balance in your digestive tract AND your vagina (yeast can more easily grow). What can you do?  It's hard.  But you can try this---  on day 10 of your cycle (the first day of your period is cycle day one)--- eliminate grains and sugar.  Yeast likes that.  I don't mean have a little, I mean, don't eat it. Do this until day 25.  Then add grains and sugar back slowly. Air out, wear no underwear to bed occasionally.  Wear only cotton underwear otherwise. Have your partner use a condom as yeast can go back and forth. Douse a tampon in tree tea oil and insert. Take a salt bath.  And keep regularly taking the probiotics.

And if it continues, you need to look into things like having a weakened immune system.  Take a good multi vitamin daily.  And the other thing to look into is diabetes if this chronic condition continues.

Let me know what you think.
