EllaOne- twice in a week

Made a stupid mistake and needed to get EllaOne twice in a week. Doctor said it would be fine, but researching the internet it’s saying it will only work once in a cycle. Any experience/thoughts? Also just started taking Yasmin and have PCOS.

You're asking if taking the emergency contraceptive two times in a week was a waste because it wouldn't be effective the second time? That seems like a moot point now, since you did it. If you want to find out if this method will have a chance of not working, you could ask your doctor or a pharmacist. Unfortunately, while you will get an answer to your question, you might also have to listen to them telling you that what you did was a terrible idea. The morning-after pill is a massive overdose of hormones. These pills are closer to poison than to candy.

I might suggest that in a similar situation in the future, saying no to unprotected sex is better for you physically and probably emotionally (because you will be taking back your power and protecting your body). I'm glad you are getting on Yasmin.
