Why do I have blood in my urine and pain to the right side of my navel?

I am a 47 year old that was diagnosed with blood in my urine and it was sent away to check for bacteria etc. All came back clear. However I still have blood in my urine (microscopic) and have dull pain in my abdomen, more to my navel's right side. I also, feel pain/uncomfortable when having intercourse. When the doctor checked my abdomen it was sensitive toward my bladder and right hand side, as mentioned, in line with navel, that area, where one can put your hand on your side. Sometimes when I experience this dull pain, it will go into my leg and I will also have flatulence. Dr did a full blood count, and all seems fine. I am now hoping to go for a sonar in the next week or so. Just want to get some input here as to what it could be. Google makes me anxious, more than what I already am. My dr prescribed a tablet for anxiety as I was also diagnosed with Bell's Palsy 3 weeks ago and on top of that the blood in the urine. As you can imagine, it all got a bit much, I started experiencing heart palpitations,  which was checked out twice for possible stroke symptoms, but got the all clear. It seems with all that is going on I am getting anxiety on top of it. Would love to get feedback on the blood in urine and sensitive areas as described above.

Hi!  Sorry you are in a position to figure all of this out and I can tell you are scared. First, bells palsy usually does not indicate a stroke.  If you had paralysis with your facial muscles, it would be more widespread and you'd have it elsewhere.  Sometimes coming off a viral infection or having had some trauma can cause it and it rarely results in a real stroke and usually resolves on its own within a few weeks. One question though, have you ever been tested for diabetes?  That is related to having this.  I assume at your age and that they did recent blood work, they checked your sugar levels and would have told you if there was a problem.  But something to consider. Diabetes also can effect the kidneys. Here is info on bells palsy which should be reassuring that it is not a serious condition. https://www.webmd.com/brain/understanding-bells-palsy-basics.

Blood in your urine, though, is not normal.  Did they check your urine for signs of bacteria?  Have they checked your kidneys? Besides needing to know if you have a bladder or kidney infection, they would want to check for stones or underlying kidney disease.  I would follow up with your doctor or take your concerns to a specialist called a nephrologist.  https://www.webmd.com/digestive-disorders/blood-in-urine-causes#1
I know our health can worry us but most things CAN be treated and you recover from them.  So, try not to worry but take the next step to find out why you have blood in urine.
