acupuncture /Chinese herbs/ homeopathics/osteopathic for osteopenia?

Many alternatives to prescription meds are touted to help improve osteopenia, and I take all the suggested supplements and walk on a treadmill daily, but my BMD keeps worsening. Am looking for other ideas that may help.
Some people say that they have had success with complimentary medicine like Chinese or homeopathics or using a osteopath. Some use low-density vibration machines. Some do weight-training exercises. Does any of this really help?
