black and brown spotting

Me and my husband have been trying to have a baby for about a year and a half now. Last months period came a week late and at the begining of it there was black and brown blood and my period lasted about three days longer than usual. This month all my period was black and brown blood that only lasted three days and about two days less than usual. Could I be pregnant?

my husband and i are also trying to conceive.. we just got married and i am very very excited to have a baby.. i had my period last january 10 and it lasted until january 14... 2 days ago, i started having a brown discharge and today, i don't know why but i'm having dark blood and my period is very light also which is odd because i usually have heavy period. i don't know what to make of it and i am very frustrated already because i really want to have a baby..

i had 3 negative home pregnancy tests already... do you think i still have a chance of being pregnant in my condition?

Hi there i had similar thing for last 2months and the doctor told me that its my body getting rid of what they call "bad" blood left behind from a period and that my cervix was getting ready for the next month.

Good luck with everything and i hope you get your wish soon ;)

I know for a fact you can bleed while being pg I did with my first pg. I would say to give your dr a call and have him do bloodwork to find out if you are. I don't think the color of your blood matters I bleed bright red for 2 weeks and I was pg. The amount of time you bleed doesn't matter either don't forget sept only had 30 days so your body makes up for that change plus the seasons changing affects your period too and age, weight gain and loss and diet excercise stress etc! You name it and that will have an affect on your period. Do you have any pg symptoms etc? Let me know how things work out for you and Good luck to you and baby dust!!!
