breastfeeding

hi..my daughter is  1month and 5 days old and I stopped breastfeeding her yesterday coz I don't have the right amount of milk that she needed coz now she eats 4-5 oz..and after I brestfed her I get a little dizzy and tired too..I guess I don't have the right nutrition.I  decided to give her formula..last night and today my breasts are so soar.My friend told me to nurse my daughter so that it won't soar..Is it ok to nurse her after a day that I didn't nurse?
thanks...

youre breast are going to hurt after you stop breastfeeding. it pretty much happens after you nurse or even after a pregnancy. because you go from breasfeeding and having your breasts fill up with milk then emptied....to your breast filling up with milk to not having them emptied.

you dont know much about breastfeeding and its good to educate yourself on it since you are breastfeeding and want to stop and are likely going to do it again soon. plus you might not have the baby latching correctly and that might by why your not producing enough, or you might not be drinking enough, or not switching sides correctly or anything.

they have good websites on breastfeeding and if you have a lalecheleage near you or something they are an excellent resource

Of course it is fine to nurse her but if you continue to nurse your breasts will continue to produce milk, it's supply and demand. You could continue breastfeeding, make sure you are eating healthy and getting plenty of fluids, a breastfeeding women should take in 500 extra calories a day.
