bump on clit

i am a trans man but don't know where else to ask, and i am not on hrt. underneath the clitoral hood right on top of the base is a bump. it isn't painful at all, is a little more red than usual, and might have a bit of white (i can't see it well) but is not hard. i am not sexually active but found it immediately after masturbating with my hands, which i don't normally do. it occurred very suddenly, within an hour. i found it about a half hour ago. is it a zit, or did i mess it up with my hands? should i wait for it to go away? if it doesn't, what then?

There are some little pinpoint gland openings in that area for the Bartholin glands and even the Skene's glands, maybe one has a temporary blockage.  Try some warm sitzbaths in epsom salts and water or white vinegar in water, and see if things ease.
