Just wondering if anyone knew what a closed cervix feels like. Does it feel like a 1/2 inch slit? Not a hole, but a slit. Like the slit to your lips when your mouth is close......Anything would help...Thanks

I think that sounds like a pretty good description of one. You should be able to find photographs of cervixes on the web by googling the word.
yes that is what it sounds to be... only reason i no is because a nurse told me once. i was curious myself when i was pregnant.. lol\

It may sound crazy but I have been reading it everywhere..(that woman check the cervix to make sure they are pregnant or not). WEll, I checked mine and it feels low, wet and it feels as if it as a slit in it but not a hole. I read that if you are pregnant your cervix should be closed. But I can't tell if its closed or open. I would be 5 wks pregnant if I am pregnant. My husband and I have been trying for 3 1/2 yrs now. I have had 2 miscarriages and 1 tubal. I have NOT had a successful pregnancy yet and I am 24 yrs old. I am now 6 days late. The day my period was due I began getting menstrual type cramping and the sore, heavy boobs but AF never came. I still have the menstrual type cramping on and off and my boobs still hurt when push on and my nipples when pinched lightly. I have no other pregnacy symptoms. So, I was just wondering if anyone knew so maybe it could help me figure out if I could be pregnat or what....I wont be able to take a pregnacy test until tomorrow...
the best thing to tell you is to wait till tomorrow take a test and find out if it comes out positive, CONGRATS,
with me i was seeing if i was dialating because of my horrible pregnancy. lol. my case was always in and out of the hospital that i started checking myself so i wouldnt have to go back in forth so much... 20wks of bedrest. fun. not really...
