Thicker periods on birth control

i just started taking the mini pill about 10 days ago. I also took a morning after pill about 3 weeks ago after a condom broke when I had sex with my bf. I just got my period (which was about 10 days late), and it's a bit different than usual. It seems to be thicker, with more clots. Is that normal? Or should I be worried?

You're already on the mini pill and then you took a high dose plan B pill on top of that. Of course you'll have changes to your period after that. If you had zero differences that's when I would worry. You just need to wait until your hormones calm down from the excessive hormones and then your period will be back to whatever it usually is.
