could i be
hi all im new to this i had sex christmas day with my partner of 3 years for the first time we had unprotective sex and he ejaculated in me, my period started the next day but im usually a very heavy bleeder where as i came on very lightly and lasted 3 days is there a possibility of being pregnant ? any help please ?...

Please don't blame yourself. I just had a miscarriage 2 weeks ago, it took me 3 years to get pregnant, I was 6 weeks when I started bleeding, then i went to the dr and they didn't see a baby, sac, fetal pole or anything, the next night I felt like I was in labor. I had a natural miscarrage no D&C needed, I hear after a miscarriage you are extremely fertile, but you do need time to heal physically and emotionally, your healing process is an individual thing, yours may take 3 weeks mine may take 3 months without Jesus I would not be handling it as well. He blessed me with this one and he is goin to bless me with another one when he is ready, not my timing but his. God is the one in control. Stay positive and hold your head up, and please don't blame yourself.
well as from the above it goes as i was 6 wks pregnant 2 days after i found out i lost my baby, the hospital gave me an internal and said my cervix was still closed and also that i could have lost all my baby or it could just have been old blood and that my baby was still there they sent me home to relax which i couldnt as i was soo upset, i then had t wait till monday morning to see my gp who booked me in 4 an early scan but i still had to wait untill the thursday which i thought took the **** a bit , arrived at 8.30am had bloods taken and scan and my baby had definately gone , im now in the need to have another as soon as i cfan to take away this pain im feeling whats worse was the fact i had to go to the hospitals on my own due to partners work commitments which has pushed me away from him untill it comes to sex thjen i brag and brag for him to give me another am i wrong for doing this i dont want to loose him but just to take away all this pain, i cant help but blame myself 4 the miscarriage ....
well my period was due 22nd i miss calculated sorry took a pg test yesterday morning came up lightly positive so off i went t my gp got booked in for the midwife he makes it 5 wks plus which sounds right , woke up this morning with stomache cramps and spotting did another test it came back negative im confused what do i do does this mean im not pg now or could it just be a dodgy test they were both clear blue plz help

thanks to both of you my next period should be 26th jan 2010 so if it doesnt happen then tests it is my little boy of 2 years wouldnt show on a pg test untill i was nearly 16 wksi my doctor kept saying it must be a virus so i said i wanted scanning as all the symptoms i had was definatly pregnancy and there he was i was told i just have low hormoans so many thanks any way to u both will just have t wait and c
From what I've heard, light bleeding could be implantation bleeding. I say either take a p-test or see your gyno.

I'm not a pro or anything, but I think any unprotected sex can lead to pregnancy. Are you on any form of contreception? Like the pill or anything?
Because you may have had sex the day before the beginning of your period, but sperm cells can live up to 3 days inside of you, which is plenty of time for them to reach your fallopian tubes which is where they fertilize the egg which can live up to 2 days.
One thing to ease your mind though, you usually don't get your period til like the 1st day of your menstrual cycle, but your egg isn't released til around the 11th day, so the sperm cells would have died before then :D
