cramps without period

I am experiencing period like cramps for the past few days and i am not due to have my period untill next week (11th jan) my last period finished on the 19th dec.  I was on 5 day course of antibiotics which ended on the 20th dec.  I am on the pill.  I had unprotected sex on the 26 and 28 of dec. I am aware that antibiotics affect the pill and that extra protection must be made for 7 days after stoping antibiotics but i had sex 6 days afterwards and i wasnt protected my a condom.  I have looked at other websites that tell me that period like cramps are an early sign of pregnancy and i am quite worried as i have never experienced period like cramps without a period before.  I doubt my period will come (if it does) untill i am due next week because my periods are always regular.  I do not have anyother symptoms.  I really need someones help as i have tried other forums with no luck and i would be very very greatful if someone could help me and let me know if this cramping is normal or if i could be pregnant.  Please some one help me as i am quite worried

I am in my early 30ies and i have never been pregnant. My period is about 3 weeks late. My husband and i have been trying to get pregnant but after a while we stopped trying. My doctor told me that there are a million explanations for a late period and if you really want to get pregant you actually start feeling pregnant and have all the signs and symptoms even when the test is negative. The only way you can ease your mind is to take the test and if it turns out negative then you know for sure. Like  a lot of  people on this forum, i am scared to take the test because i dont think i can handle another disappointment. Goodluck

I am super late with my period. I've been having horrible cramping pains, feeling like I would start but I don't. I've been constipated and feeling very, very sick recently.  Currently I am a different kind of sick, as in runny nose and sore throat, lots of headaches, feeling like I'm going to throw up at night. I really need help. I don't have insurance so I'm scared to go to the doctor, and my pain is all over my stomach and in my back and neck.

I'm 16 years old and I've been taking the Pill for a little over a year because I had bad acne. I was 12 when I got my first period, and for that whole week, I was in agony. After that, it got easier, but I was still in a lot of pain. When I started taking the Pill, I still had bad pain, but I could take painkillers and be fine. Well, for the past 4 months, I have been having severe stomach cramps like period pain in my lower abdomen, despite being on the Pill. This pain has been so bad that on more than one occasion I have been screaming and crawling because I can't walk. I have been to the GP more times than I can count. At first, he thought it was IBS, so I was put on a wheat-free and dairy-free diet for about 8 weeks and given more pills and tablets to take than I can count. I had blood tests and dairy tests and wheat tests but they all came back negative, though he told me to still keep on the diet. However, this didn't work, and when I told him how the pain was more severe a few days before my period, he said that he now thought it was endometriosis. I was placed on a different set of pills and told to monitor the pain, all the while keeping my Pill back-to-back, so I never had a period, to see if this helped with the pain. So I did. About 3 weeks ago, I was suddenly struck out of the blue with the most severe cramps yet. They were so bad I was screaming and sobbing in agony. My mum took one look at me and took us both to A&E. There, I was given morphine and kept over two nights, being given co-codamel every four hours. When we saw the specalist nurse, she told us that she didn't think that it was endometriosis, but more likely a cyst on my ovaries, since I was so young. However, when I had a scan last week, it showed my ovaries, my womb and my kidneys were all fine. The same specalist nurse then told us that I should keep on the Pill, and if I got the same pain again, I should have co-codamel and anti-inflammatries for three days straight to keep the pain managable; and if this didn't work to return to A&E. I should also try and avoid dairy for the time being. Unfortunately, the co-codamels and the anti-inflammatries make me constipated, so I weaned myself off them and have been fine for a few days, until now. Since yesterday morning and today, I have been experiencing the same cramps, though the pain hasn't just been to limited to my lower abdomen; after the cramps, I get a lingering pain in the rest of my stomach, as well as gas and the need to use my bowels. Yesterday's cramps weren't so bad, but today's woke me up in the early hours of the morning and have been on and off since then. About an hour ago, I had the worst ones of the two days. I took ibuprofen about two hours ago, but it barely took the edge off, and so I have just had co-codamel and a hot water bottle. I now feel sick and like my stomach is churning. Because of this pain, I am too terrified to leave the house in case I get cramps, which is awful because I'm starting school next week. I can't continue like this. I don't know what to do. My family and I are at the end of our tether. Does anybody have any advice about what I should do, regardless if you've had this type of pain or not? Please, I really need some help. Thank you. xxx

I have had the same thing for the past two months. I have been to two different doctors now, and both did blood work which came back negative. Since I am going through the same thing I would say to just save your money ( from seeing the doc) for a few more weeks. Unless the cramps get to be too bad, then I would def see a doc. In a few weeks if you see a doc you might ask to have an ultrasound done, if your insurance will cover it. Because if its in there IT will show up on an ultrasound.
I am going next week for one. Also, I was told that if you think that you are pregnant then you should act like it. Dont carry heavy things. Dont try to overdo anything. Also if you wanted you could start taking prenatals. Its just vitamins so it wont hurt you if you arent. Sorry but thats all I can say. Good luck though

Ok. It's been 2 weeks since the day i had sex. I've been cramping for almost a week now and absolutely no sign of a period. i'm also 3 days late on my period. My friend said i'm just being paranoid. Could i be pregnant?? I'm not having any other early pregnancy signs. Just the cramping. Should i take a pregnancy test just to be on the safe side and make sure?
