excess chest/neck sweating

Im not use to this site but I have no idea where to ask this question.I am 51 yr old woman.I already have gone through menepause so that isnt it.My problem is EXCESS sweating,but not the normal places.I sweat real bad on my neck and chest.i do not over exert myself yet if im at work 5 min the front of my black shirt is soaked.its really embarassing as alot of people hug me

I can imagine that is a major pain.  You don't think this is related to hormones at all?  Even if through menopause, we still have some hormones circulating around.  Or we have a lack of them like estrogen which causes equal annoying issues.  blood work would determine if hormones are being jerks.

Other common causes are hyperthyroidism.  A blood test would determine that.  Diabetes can cause this.  Is your weight of the right target area?  (no judgment if it is not, I'm working on that myself.  :>))) But a thyroid issue could be the culprit.

If you are having any chest pain, go immediately to the doctor or ER.

But it really could still be associated with the depletion of estrogen you have experienced.
