external vaginal itch, tests negative now what?

hello board.  i have been battling a mild itch going on in my vaginal area now for about a month.  two weeks ago i went and got an exam and blood drawn, pelvic exam and scraped and tested.  everything came back negative.  the only thing that was out of whack was my PH level was a bit high but my period started the same day i had my exam, literally hours after i had had the exam.

my question is i'm having external vaginal itch, nothing mind blowing but it's annoying.  now it seems i have this irritation and itch on the crease where my leg would meet my genital area.  i have tried washes made specifically for sensitive skin, (summer's eve) and i have tried the monistat itch relief cream, that doesn't really help.  the doc i saw said that i could put lotrimin on it, and i have, nothing worked there. i'm at my wits end.  i don't see any bumps, just a little red irritation on the side where my leg meets my groin area in the crease.  i have been wearing cotton panties, using powder designed for that region, doc says i'm fine and just switch my detergents to more mild stuff, and i have, no relief.  can anyone shed some light on this problem?

perhaps do i have BV?  i'm just not familiar with what could be wrong.  i have had one sex partner this entire year and we haven't had sex since early november it's not almost march, and we used a condom.  all STD testing came back clean and testing for yeast and trich.  i'm baffled, any help would be appreciated, thanks.

No , no diagnosis as of now. I do have test set up for micro plasma and ureathraplasma in a week. I went and seen my oncologist. No let me recap, this all started a few months after starting a intimate relationship with a man that cheated on me! I solely believe it's sexually transmitted. Ok now all std test are negative, even a DNA test for hpv. The only thing that shows up in my wetprep is mucous. Now whatever is wrong is causing low grade dysplacia and I'm going march 22nd for my second surgery to remove the abnormal cells. My oncologist diagnosed me with Bv And hpv which neither showed up in the multiple test I have taken. So I believe that was a misdiagnosis. The next step is the micro and ureathraplasma. Has anyone else had these test performed or tested positive for these?

I have been having the same problem. I started sleeping with a close friend of mine 2 years ago. With in 2 months I started having a bad reaction. I itched and burned so bad. No sores. Now I have a constant discharge that smells of infection. All test are negative , the docs think I'm losing it and I believe they are right.

Did you ever find out what was causing your reaction? Because I had the same reaction. But before that I did test positive for chlamydia. I did take treatment and went to get tested again and all my tests were negative. So I have no idea what it could be now.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Itchy vagina can be due to a number of causes. First of all it can be due to allergic reaction or contact dermatitis to your undergarments, sanitary napkins or tampons, soaps etc. There is no change in the colour or smell of discharge in this case.

Secondly, It can be due to STD’s but there is a change in the discharge in this case. You need to get it evaluated from your gynecologist.
Keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove.Avoid any kind of cosmetics. For the itching take some antihistaminic like Benadryl
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

If you are diabetic your blood sugars being high and having sugar in you urine can cause the itching and irritation your speaking of. It doesnt show up in std testing.
