what is going on?

Hi I'm 13 years old and I got my period for the first time on June 1st-7 of this year and haven't gotten it since, however around the 14th of last month for 4 days I got medium brown discharge, and then since yesterday I got it again, but today I noticed it's still brown but with a little red tinge to it. What's happening?

AnnieBrooke is right. It can take a few years for your body to get on a regular schedule, and even then one a month is typical but can very from person to person.

It's probably your next period starting up.  Brown discharge is probably old blood (that has sat around a bit in your uterus) and it often leads into a period.
