Hi there,  I've read that the average time is 6 months for menses to begin again and from 6 months to a year before fertility is going strong.  Always good to consult your doctor when you have concerns.  My doctor provides nursing support to answer phone calls  and would imagine that yours does as well.  Give them a call about this.  Lots of luck to you.

Hi Shanell,

Well being off the depo shot seems to be different for everyone.  I've heard of women bleeding every day, women bleeding for an hour every other day, some bleeding every two weeks, and some not having any bleeding at all until their next period, and so on and so forth.  Everyone seems to have various reactions.  So it all depends on the person which makes it tough to answer your question.  If you haven't had any spotting/bleeding for two months being off of it, I'd say you are pretty lucky and your period should start soon.  If it doesn't I'd consult with your doctor.  Good luck to you :)
