i need help regrading tests after abortion urine and blood

two weeks after my period i suddenly felt tired, sleepy, and started throwing up, i baught the home pregnancy test - urine test. i had three and they all turned out positive. i knew i was pregnant i felt so
i took abortion pills, bleeding for three days and small tissue came out. i had all the symptoms of a successfull abortion. a week later i tested my urine twice and it turned out positive - still pregnant.
i researched online and found that it will still be positive for few weeks even though i already lost the baby.
however i still feel extremly sleepy all the time, and i still throw up. i decided to do the hormone blood test two weeks after my abortion
it says : Beta H.C.G 18392.95 which according to the lab could mean that im 5 to 6 weeks pregnant
im extremly lost now. is it possible that im still pregnant even though i had all the symptoms of misscarrige ?
i cant afford the ultra sound right now, and i dont want to continue my pragnancy.
could this result be because i didnt have the cleaning yet ?

if you go to the doctor and have insurance they will do an ultrasound. they can make the payments very small. if you are pregnant there are ways and medicaid will cover a pregnancy. i got pregnant when i was 16 and had my son and were here doing wonderful. he's the best thing i've ever done!

this is just a sad post. i would go get an ultrasound if i were you. it might have been twins, some of the baby might be left behind, or you might still be pregnant.

IT could be becuase the abortion pills didn't induce you enough to expel ALL of the products of conception or it could just be too soon and your levels have not gone back down. If you were pregnant with twins your levels would have been higher to start with. I know you said you couldn't afford the u/s right now but it would be advised that you have one to ensure you did not have an incomplete abortion which  could lead to infection.

I would also like to add that since you do not wish to become pregnant right now that you also talk to your doctor about birth control options.  With all the different types out there nowadays i'm sure there is one that will fit your desires, needs and lifestyle.  It is always better to PREVENT pregnancy than to terminate once it has begun!  A babys heart starts beating during the 6th week.
