is my mirena coil the problem?

i had my lining of the womb burned and mirena coil fitted(which i didnt want fitted) a year ago next month. i am in agonising pain,i already have back problems but this has got worse i feel as if i,m taking contractions,i also have lost control of my bladder and bowel a few times,i look like i am 5 months pregnant,terrible pains in the abdominal area and in my groin,the pain going down my right leg is awful,i feel sometimes as if i feel somthing jagging in my abdominal area,i am out on sweats,the weight i have put on is so bad that i dont go out too much as my clothes dont fit me,i have no sex drive at all,my moods are so bad that i feel i am going to take my life,i cry alot,and i either do nothing but sleep or i cant sleep,i came out wat looked like achne on my chest and my back,i have never had achne in my life or even sweat as i have dry skin with having eczema,i have had migrains which at 1 stage i collapsed, been to hospital twice,1st time i was kept in over night,i got an mri scan the nx morning,they said the mri hadnt changed in 3 years(my dr thot i had a prolapsed disc) even tho i was still loosing control of my bladder,i was given a encontanant pad(was so big i was embarrssed) i went outside to get air and as i was out there my bladder just went, i then went back into the ward in a state and male nurse came to see what was wrong,i told him wat happened,he wasnt at all concernd,tho he did tell the consultant,he came over and said ur mri was ok,we,ll do a urine test(which by the way wasnt even done the night i was admitted to a&e) to see if there was an infection,it came back clear,i was given antibiotic(why wen i had no infection) i was then sent home,2nd time i went to hospital as back pain,leg pain,groin and abdominal pain,was just awful,it was as quick to get me in and then out,they checked my back passage,said it was fine,then,sent home,even tho i had these pains,my partner and i will be breaking up soon because of this,as i havent had sex with him in a long time(but he knws it hurts me wen we do) i have isolated myself from my friends i have not been out in a long time,i look in the mirror and i have aged i,m 44 but i feel more like 94,anybody else having problems with this alien as well!

For your symptoms pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) and hormonal imbalance should be ruled out. Get your hormonal status checked. PID is inflammation of female reproductive organs (uterus, ovary, etc) and caused by viral, fungal, parasitic or most often bacterial infections. You need to go for blood test, urine test, histopathological examination and Ultrasound Pelvis.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. Can I ask why they fitted you for the coil? Was it for another health reason or for a form of BCP?

I have heard a lot of people say these same things about the coil. If it is not working I would have it removed.
