lump in groin area (bikini line)?

this past year i’ve been getting these bumps in my groin area and it’s a bit painful because my underwear rubs against it. i know it’s not an STD because i’m not sexually active. i’m 14 and i am going through puberty. i’ve had these in the past before i just never knew what they were. the ones before have gone away, but have left scars.
1. what is causing these bumps?
2. what are they?
3. how can i treat them?
3. how to prevent further ones from forming?
5. how to make the scars go away?
i’d appreciate it if somebody can help me, because it’s embarrassing to tell my mom about it. thanks.
