pregnant or just in my mind???

Okay im 18 years old and when i was 14 i had an abortion and every since then my period hasnt been regular....but the past 6 months ive been keeping up with my cycle and it seems like its regular now cause its every 32 days....but my last period was on may 30 2009, and it didnt come on in june but on july 5 it camed on for about 3 days and it wasnt really a period but okay i have taken alot of pregnancy tests so i went to the clinic in my town and they also said i was pregnant when i took the test they gaved me.....but two days later i took another hpt for my mom and it was negative....so i went to the er cause i was sorta hurting and i thought it was the best way to know and quicker way....but i took the blood test and it camed out negative so i didnt push the issue anymore cause i thought it was just in my head...but now its aug and my period hasnt come on and now its five days late....so im thinking am i pregnant...i be sick and tired all of the time...my stomach is getting bigger than normally and its sorta hard plus i have terible headaches...i have a little back pain and side pain and its feel like my stomach be hurting even more but its no sign of any period not even a brownish blood.....i dont know if its in my head or wat???

HI AND IM HAPPY TO SEE THAT YOU ARE AT LEAST GETTING SOME ANSWERS...BUT ME MY OB CANT SEE ME UNTIL NEXT MONTH AND IM SO MAD RIGHT NOW....BUT I UNDERSTAND YOUR PAIN AND JUST YOU CANT WAIT ANYMORE.

Ok so no real update till tuesday... these docs make me made. I did MORE lab work and they told me to call my ob when they came in so i did, they told me " Dr. Lacey would love to see you on tuesday to go over your lab work" And then hung up!!! Shes crazy! O yeah at my apt they told me i have gained 5 lbs since the end of june! If you seen a before and after pic of me you would think 20 lbs. I need to post some pics. Anyways so yeah my husband and i are upset but im going in tuesday and telling them i want an ultra sound done!!!  How you doing? Anything new?

THE HOSPITAL DIDNT SAY WAT KIND BUT IM PRETTY SURE IT WAS A TEST WITH THE BLOOD.....BUT WHEN I WENT TO MY CLINIC AT THE TIME THEY THOUGHT I WAS AROUND 7 WEEKS OR MORE..BUT NOW IM THINKING IM PROBABLY AROUND TEN OR MORE WEEKS NOW IFIM PREGNANT.

its very possible you could be. when my mom was pregnant with my older brother, none of the pregnancy tests she did came back positive until she was 3 months along. even the blood tests the doctors took read negative. but after she missed her third period, she went to the doctor and all of a sudden the tests came back positive and the doctor was like "ohhh. you're 3 months pregnant!" and my mom was like duhhhh *******. hahahah. so yeah. its a possibility.

You could be pregnant.  What sort of test did the hospital do?

The reason you would be showing up negative on any home urine tests (and the blood test) you might be doing is that the hormone that it tests for stops being produced because the placenta takes over that particular function at around 10-12 weeks.

You probably need to have an ultrasound to confirm any pregnancy - or alternatively it will show that you aren't pregnant but have a bigger problem.

If you are more than about 20 weeks then an OB or midwife could probably hear the heartbeat and feel the baby.

LOL wow are stories are dead on. i havent had a period since i got married which was may 23 of this year my stomach is bigger and hard, ive takin 6 hpt and 2 blood test ALL  neg. today is the first day my fam doc will see me and he is going to tell me if i need a ultra sound or not. I feel like its in my head with all the neg test. I dont understand it girl but ill let you know what happens. O the hpt sometimes dont read right, my aunt didnt find out she was pg till she was almost Six months along. So... yeah crazy! ill let you know.
