question that no one can answer!

I have a creamy yellowish white discharge.. I was told by my doc that it is a yeast infection.. he gave me meds and it returned.. i used monastat and when i woke up my pad had a light creamy brownish discharge.. i have been tested for stds and i dont have any.. and im still having problems.. could be anythin else??

If it still itches and the monostat did not work, it could be what is called Bacterial Vaginosis (NOT an std). I get them more often than YI's and they are very similar so most doctors will treat for both if they did not do a culture to actually find out. Treatment for BV is metronidazole or clindamycin (both antibiotics). Ask your Dr. if this could be the problem. There are always bacteria in the vagina but when they get oout of wack you can get BV. Hope this helps!

hormonal imbalance the yellow could be caused by the increase in progesterone most people get it after ovulation  the brown discharge is probably old blood or when u inserted the monistat u could have scarred
