scared!! :(:(:(

Okay, this is going to be embarassing to talk about but i dont want to have to go to a doctor where i will likely be invaded..i  have been experiencing brownish/red spotting/discharge. It only comes out maybe 2-3 times a day and its been going on for about 3 days now. On the first day, it started out like pinkish light blood,  and then kept getting darker and now is pretty much mostly brown. my period isnt due for aanother couple days, could this be just a really weird period? My cycles last anywhere from 30-35 days, and my actual menstralation lasts 3 days. Its really starting to freak me out because i habe never experienced this! Could something bad be wrong with me??

It doesn't sound that abnormal to me.  I'll bet your full flow comes in a day or two.  Sometimes, one gets an ovarian cyst or some other thing that makes the period coming on look a little unusual.  Sometimes for no particular reason, we don't ovulate and therefore skip a period.  I would not be too distressed unless it goes on like this for a month or more.  At that point I'd book an appointment (this might give you some time to get over your feeling of being invaded by the doctor.  Can't you get a woman doctor?)

It finally stopped yesterday, and i passed a few clots as well, but the blood remained brown the entire time. Still no regular period. here is what confuses me the most, my cycle is sort of irregular, and can last anywhere from 30 to 36 days or so, and my actually periods last 3-4 days, and that is how long this went on for. Its the time my period should be due also, but i have never experienced brown blood during a whole period, it usally only happens at the end. Not only that, it wasnt even as heavy as my normal periods, it was heavy, but only enough to where i was only going through 2 pads a day. Im wondering if this was just my period or something and it was just really funky, or what.
