some help please

I'm 26 years old and i lost my virginity on dec 24 and its now been 4 days, in those 4 days i have been lightly spotting. when he was going in slowly and not rough i did up bleeding a little while he was going in. Do i have to wait for it to stop bleeding and is it normal? i know every girl body is different. can someone let me know, my mom said wait for it to stop bleeding. Thanks.

Hello~It is normal to have bleeding the first time you have intercourse, it is due to the hymen being broken. I would probably see my GP however if it continues, I am not aware of bleeding going on for four days after but everyone is different.

You are asking if you should refrain from sex while your presumably torn hymen is healing? It's probably personal choice, though you might want to be careful about possible infection. Expect more bleeding if you have sex before it's well, the same way you would expect bleeding if you broke open a half-healed cut or scratch anywhere else on your skin.
