weird red bump near opening

So within a day, a large redish bump appeared near the opening "down there". I'm not sexually active and have never been, so it can't be an std. I'm really scared because it is starting to hurt quite a bit when I walk etc. Anyone know what it can be or what caused it? Or how to treat?? Thanks

could be a cyst on the outside....its happened to me before .  just need a little antibiotics.  nothing to worry about, especially if you are still a virgin. go see your doc.  good luck

It is probably your bartholin gland. It scared me to death when mine came up. You should get really hot towells and put it on it and also take hot baths. If it does not go away then you will have to go to the doc and they will drain it, you will have a tube in for a week, but when it is gone it feels a ton better. Mine kept coming back and when I got lapro I told him to take it out. I would not recommend that. it hurt and it was swollen for a while.
You will be fine they are not cancerous. It is just a clog in one of your lubrication glands. Hope this helps!
