why do i keep getting UTI after intercourse??

so me and my bf have been together for nearly 2 years. (i had been in a past relationship before and never suffered from anything like this before, i never knew of UTIs.) so the first time me and my bf had intercourse within 24 hours i had to urge to pee and it was burning like hell. this has happened many of times. Both of us have been tested for STIs and its all clear. I went to the doctors got antibiotics each time and still have them on me now. They told me it could be the position, it could be dry or its just my bad luck ........ so anyway we tried it with lube which did help and SOMETIMES i didn't get a UTI and other times i did so this left me confused. I always wash and pee after intercourse so thats never been an issue. So i asked a few of my female friends if they have ever suffered with anything , one girl said she had and was due to the washing powder her partner used and was going onto his private part and obviously causing a UTI. Then i decided to try condoms which has helped a LOT but the other day i got a UTI after 2 months free using condoms....it came back with Coliform bacteria in it which is E.Coli which has just left me soooo confused now, i have also tried washing before sex and that does help and i never got a UTI when he washes but i do if he doesn't wash. so where is this UTI coming from....is it me or him?? plus his past gf suffered from UTIs as well so i am assuming its him...??

But why do you say its a uti? If you had symptoms 24 hours after sex then its not a uti as takes about week for symptoms to develop. Sounds more like an injury.

UTI in fact takes 24 hours. you can have a lower uti or a high uti which is in the kidneys
you are saying its him and maybe the size

Hi a UTI is a urinary track infection, meaning the tube that urine comes out gets an infection but with a UTI there also should be a white puss discharge not just burning. Just burning is a sign of an injury and white puss is a sign of an infection.
