I had a hysterectomy 3 yrs ago with one ovary left i am now having pain on the opposite side is this common to have pain on opposte side to where Ovary is, thanks Sian.

Well, if it is from scar tissue, it's not uncommon at all.  I had adhesions after an appendectomy that hurt a lot.  It wouldn't be from the ovary that is not there.  If there is a pattern to the pain (for example, if it seems to happen like the pain related to menstrual cycles), you might have some endometriosis there.  Thing to do is talk to your ob and see what he or she says.
