yeast infection

me and my boyfriend has been dating for 2 years every since i have been with him i keep getting these yeast infections. the strangest thing is that its not so bad in the inside of the vigina, its the outside of it, i have been scratching my coochie like crazy, is it possible that he can have it a yeast infection and not know it? he have been tested for a physical and everything came out negative, i just dont understand, my boyfriend smokes but he does not drink at all. he have been taking medication such as delanton and some other pill for his health, do you think maybe i have a allergic reaction thats coming out of his pores or the like? i just dont know what to do, so i did go to the doctor to get a one pill to take to take away the yeast infection, i dont know if i want to have sex with him anymore, its been going on for 2 years off and on, this is so retarded i also was expeirencing ana itching also. does anyone have any suggestions about this situation and what i can do? i will definitly smack a rubber on, my boyfriend does not mind going to get another checkup because he is just as upset as i am. thanks for reading.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR KIND COMMENT, I DONT WEAR TIGHT CLOTHING AT ALL I DO WEAR PANTILINERS,I THOUGHT MAYBE IT WAS THE LINERS BUT I GUESS ITS NOT, I WENT AND ORDER SOME LUNA PAD LINERS THAT I PURCHASE THAT ARE 100 PERCENT COTTON REUSUABLE LINERS THAT U CAN WASH JUST LIKE COTTON PANIES,AND ALSO I USE THE DIVA CUP INSTEAD OF PADS SO I WOULDNT GET MOISTURE TO MY VAGINA AND CAUSE YEAST INFECTIONS,  I CANT WAIT TO TRY THE LINERS NEVER THE LESS MY BOYFRIEND IS GOING TO THE DOCTOR TODAY BECAUSE HE IS PRETTY MUCH UPSET ABOUT IT THAN I AM, I DID SUGGEST THAT WE WEAR PROTECTION, THE STRANGEST THING IS THAT ITS NOT THE INSIDE ITS THE OUTSIDE,NO DISCHARGE, NO ODOR OR ANYTHING OF THE LIKE, NO SORES OR ANYTHING I ALWAYS LOOK DOWN AND EXAMINE MY VAGINA ALL THE TIME, THATS HOW CLEAN I AM AND ALSO MY BOYFRIEND. I WANT TO SAY THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE COMMENT.

Men can get yeast infections but show no signs of it. It is usually the woman who becomes the victim of this. Everytime my husband takes antibiotics, he gives me a yeast. And everytime I take certain antibiotics, I get it too. The doctor tells us that using Lamisil for jock itch is an anti fungal and can be used by my husband to treat it. while I use the pill and monostat. but we cant have any sex whatsoever until we are both treated completely. Also, if he wasnt getting treated, he was just giving it back to you over and over again without realizing. If you want to hear something funny, I even get yeast infections with condoms too. Make sure you treat your anus area too. the yeast sometimes spreads there and needs cream. make sure you wash often when treating yourself to help get rid of it faster and better and you'll feel less ithing too. also, you can use pantiliners throughout the day as the yeast cream starts to come down, so that you can help not reinfect yourself.

Well I am not sure what else to say to that, if it's been happening on and off for two years have you considered other possibilies whys you could be getting them. Usually it is not possible for your partner to get a yeast infection as well but if you feel like that must be the case then yes try the condom thing for a while. But how about the kind of pants you wear? People like you I guess get these very easyly and if you wear tight clothes alot then that dosent help the problem at all. Reasearch also suggest that you should only be wearing cotton underwear and wipe your vigina a certain way (front to back), not use perfume toliet paper (but I dont know anyone or anywhere that actually uses or has them) also dont use sented tampons or pad. And alos if you eat alot of foods that are prone to have yeast in it you should watch out for that too. I dont know what foods that would be but Im sure if you do some research or ask your doctor you could get some answers. I heard also that if you eat yogurt on a regular basis it helps with keeping them away too. I have only ever had them twice so this is all I can say. Hope it helps!
