Impact Trauma Adhesions or Something Else?

2 years ago fell 3 metres off a bridge whilst riding my mountain bike and landed on my left side on the edge of a ledge. Impact point was mid abdomen, left of belly button, between ribs and pelvis. Result was multiple grade 4 lacerations of my left kidney. Kidney has recovered fully no loss of function etc. No fractures, no other obvious injuries, only pain in the impact area.

But I've had chronic abdominal pain in the impact area ever since. No obvious injuries identified from 6 x CT scans and several ultrasounds.Pain is at its worst after (not necessarily during) strenuous exercise that involves engaging my abdominal muscles. Almost a case of delayed onset, sometimes 1-2 days later. Left side feels swollen, inflamed, this seems to put pressure on the bowels causing subtle obstruction type problems also.

Lying down in bed to often sore and painful almost constantly, but especially more so in the early mornings.

Might these problems be adhesions or some other injury like a torn muscle?. A torn muscle that seems to work functionally but gets aggravated after it's been used.
