Glad to meet someone going thru the same thing.  The good thing I have is a surgeon that does understand the pain and does NOT want me in pain..   he also knows it grows back and doesn't want me to continue to have too many surgeries,so we are trying to keep bowels moving by Karo syrup and milk enemas every 3 days.  And everyday lk of magnesium and mineral oil.  When I go back next week ,we are going to discuss me going shots to make me have bms.

Every time I get the adhesion it seems to kink my bowels, and cause the pain, tugging issues.  But since this year I had surgery in may and in July not having to be open instead of laproscopoc due to the severity of the adhesions, dr is being so careful, he doesn't want me to get seriously I'll, from surgeries,or infection, or having more than 4" of my bowel taken out.

Have you ever had physical therapy or massage to help break it up, I haven't but have been reading about it.

I will try the heating pad too.  How many surgeries have you had?  Has it affected your bowels too?   Have any of your surgeries been open?  Do you currently take pain meds regularly?  I am still on a small amount each day 3x since my surgery in July 17.

I go to see my surgeon next week.

Nice to have someone to talk to about all of his.

Thanks
Bridget

My surgeon is over the top the best.

i am going thru the same thing, the scar tissue grows like ropes inside you and it is very painful, try going to the doctor and telling him or her whats going on,you might need the scar tissue removed if its really bad, but I warn you in time it does grow back,in the mean time maybe get on a good pain medicine and try to watch what you eat ,take a magnesium supplement at night before bed, it will help with your bowels, the scar tissue seems to always have an impact on them. i am going thru the same thing for 8 years now, also heating pads help too, sometimes the doctors dont understand, i pray you get one that does because this pain is very serious and excruciating, good luck.
