I'm Back...It's Me JoJo!

Hi everyone:

I founded this group in 2010 in much desperation as there was nothing even on the web about our disease.  I even established the definition of GM on Wikipedia...although the docs keep editing my work lol.

I went through medical hell, then two lawsuits...at which point I had to stop my support of this site due to just being way too overwhelmed and depressed.

I won both lawsuits and now have established disability support.

I do hope to be able to be more active on the site again.

And my heart and soul go out to each and every one of you.  I know how you suffer.

Jo

Hi Veronica, unfortunately homeopathy is a very personalised medication, with type of medication, dose depending on various factors including individual requirements and characteristics etc. I could recommend that you should find out a homeopath with extremely good reputation and highly recommended and someone who is confident of curing this.

For your information, I had multiple different types of homeopathy medication with both 2 C and M/1 to M/5 etc doses. They were all in the form of liquid ( medicine diluted with distilled water) and 'succused' before one or two drops applied on tongue on empty stomach. Some names that I remember were, pusiltilla, nat sulph, Arsenicum iodinum, nux vomica ( nux v. to neutralise overdosing and effect due to eating wrong food). I think I didn't yet use berberis and some other medicines...

But as I said, 50% cure will be by food restriction which is also imp for the homeo to work. Go back to my food post and try following it. Or mail me for specific list. Even without homeo, it should help to keep it down if u follow strictly. My aunts homeo is so good, I have used it to cure my daughters croup, my husbands fever nd flu in 4 hours, his diarrhoea with one dose, etc. I am a doctor and now I cure my family problems with homeo!!

If you are really interested, I can ask my aunt if there is any easy way out for you and you could try her prescription for sometime through me. Otherwise I highly recommend you find an excellent homeopath even if you have to travel. Someone else on this forum had great results with homeo ...perhaps you could go to her doc. Good luck.

Hi! Is there any way you can ask your aunt what are the components of the homeopathy you took?
Maybe that can help us finding out with our own homeopathic  doctors. Maybe the main component.

Thanks

Just be happy you recovered!! I don't think there's anything that could remove it completely...I have bad scars too and a weird dented line running all the way...deforming my breast somewhat....but I could not care less because I have my life back!!

Hi Jo,

I left you a message when you were not active...to thank you. I actually diagnosed my own case after surgeons failed...mainly by looking through pictures and published papers ( I have medicine background though now do public Heath genomics) ...then I found this forum.

After 6 months of failed antibiotics and half dying from this, my top Cambridge surgeon suggested wait and watch while I became worse...then my aunts brilliant homeopathy and diet changed my life...now I have almost 100% recovered. From my background in genomics, I am beginning to think that if we can sequence the culture negative pathogens, we would discover what may be causing this ( IF bugs are responsible).. But it is still 'idiopathic'...can be many other reasons too...but as my aunt says homeopathy helps the body cure itself no matter what the cause it...I would recommend everyone try alternative treatments and diets....anyhow, good to have you back!

Glad that u have healed and won the case and me too.. I have fully healed 1yr ago from GM without any medication. It takes time at least 1-2yrs n it will auto heal without medication. Now what I left are the ugly scars. Anyone know what's the effective way to get rid of the scars left by GM?

Hi there:

I am glad that you have healed.

I have lingering systemic issues I am afraid.

I myself noticed that there seemed to be a cycle of a woman (or man), finding the forum, asking and contributing of much information, posting their treatment success and failure; which unfortunately in many cases, was bilateral mastectomy.  And then leaving the forum...

I have come to believe this happens because of the brutality of the experience for many.  At some point...you are ready to leave GM behind physically and you need to mentally too, in order to heal.

But, I know I can help others...and so I am going to do my best to re-engage.

I just realized part of that didn't make sense! Excuse my autocorrect, haha "finding this forum has made me feel like I wasn't alone *and has helped me not to be so depressed about it". And *so the ones... not "do" the ones.

Finding this forum has made me feel like I wasn't alone who he's helped me not to be so depressed about it.  And it also helped me realize I could heal naturally!  If I hadn't read other women's comments about healing naturally I would've went with the meds and trusted the doctors.  I'm glad things are looking up for you now and that you're back on the forum.  I think it's important for us who have healed to continue to be active on the forum do the ones currently going through it know that there is hope.  They have so many questions just as we did when we were there.  Again... Thank you for creating this forum and welcome back!!

Welcome back JoJo!  Thank you for starting this forum, I can't explain how grateful I am for it!  It has truly been a lifesaver for me when I was going through GM.  My mom actually found this forum for me in desperation of continued I&D of abscesses before I was diagnosed with GM.  I had a "mystery disease" and was ready to just cut off my breasts! Finding this forum
