How does everyone feel and what symptoms did you have?

Hi there my name is Erica. I was diagnosed with JRA (juvenile rheumatoid arthritis) when I was 14 years old I am now 28. I have also has some cancer issues that I am treated for at Memorial Sloan Kettering in NYC. Everything is under control but my body started to feel very very weak in recent months more so then usual. I went to the doctor to get some blood work and they found that my vitamin D levels were at 17. For the longest time I have been depressed...angry...mad sad (everyone would tell me it was from all the illness I have gone through but I knew it was something more because I never let myself get depressed from everything that I have been through it just isnt me) .. memory fog was HORRIBLE I was driving home from work and forgot how to get home...I could not remember a thing anyone said to me! My JRA came back positive which I knew it would but it wasn't as bad as it used to be the vitamin D was what was causing me to feel this way...the doctors put me on 100,000 IU a week. I hope I start to feel better soon...were you guys feeling depressed when your normal personality is a happy one? I am so happy I found this website. Hope you are all doing well!

Hi. I have been having leg, hip, ankle pain and my muscles are weak and give way when walking or going up and down stairs. Have been extremely depressed and suffered flu symptoms which took me ages to get over plus fatigue where I couldnt get out of bed. Previously when out driving had to stop and think out the route. Have no energy to go anywhere and everything is too much trouble to even think about it. Finally had blood test to reveal vit d deficiency and now it kinda makes sense. Hoping supplements will get me feeling normal again.

Omg... Erica, I just happen to come across this website and read your post. I' have been trying to figure out why I have been feeling so depressed, angry sad. My body has been so weak and tired, muscle aches.   I don't even wanna go any where anymore. And this is not me I'm happy go lucky and like to get out and do things. I have a history and Low Vitamin D levels but I never realized that having low Vitamin D Levels can have me feeling like this until I started reading Forums today. I'm 30 years old and have been feeling like crap lately. I just went to the Lab on Saturday so I'm still wait on my Vitamin D Lab results to come back. I never took taking my Vitamin D supplements serious but I'm sure as hell is now. I will most Def keep you in my prayers. And you do the same for me. My name is Tiffany by the way.
