how long will this last

I just got diagnosed with vitamin d deficiency. Mine was 8, I was feeling horrible but didn't want to tell anyone because I was really scared. I also have ms and was getting over a bad round with that. Wasn't sure if the ms wasn't getting any better and this was my life forever. Then a couple of days ago I found out about the vitamin d. Dr gave me 50000 iu supplements and I thought I would start feeling better in a day or 2 but as I started reading here, that is not the case. How do you all deal with the fact that it takes so long.

I was just diagnosed with vitamin d definiency two days ago after years of trying to get doctors to listen to me.  Cant believe it all comes down to a vitamin!   My number came back at 7.2.   Doc put me on 50000 ui a week for 8 weeks and then every other week for 4 more rounds.  Does this sound right?
And what happens after that? Is this a rest of my life kind of thing?  How long to start feeling relief?  Have to go to military clinic and info is very basic so any help and info is very much appreciated.

people on here post, it takes months to recover, and i read ncibi, case study, where it took 2 woman being on 50k a weak for almost a year to get htier sense of smell back. There seems to be some correlation and ms as well, but nobody has elucidated of what that is.
Even if you get to normal range, its possible going off of the d3, will relapse you. so its safe bet to be on it all the time. the sun is only good if you get full body exposure, such as being on a sunny beach day, of course dont get a sun burn. sun lotion, will block the ability to produce d3 as well.
