Bad Doggy!

How can I get my Poodle Shitzu mix to quit spazing out every time we have company over.  The scenario is as follows:  Someone knocks at the door, the dog goes crazy barking.  If they dare enough to come in, he barks his head off and jumps all over them and won't stop until they pet him or we remove him from the situation.  If they are staying for a visit, he is extremely on edge.  He isn't really aggressive, just watches their every move and barks if they move around, or talk too loudly.  He is a smart dog, but we can't seem to get him to behave.  Help!  What can we do?

Swampy's brother has a dog that loves all humans that come to the door, with the exception of Jehovah's Witnesses. She growls, drools, and the hair on the back of her head stands up.

Why doesn't she want her owner to be saved?

ha ha!  I don't mind when uninvited guests are bothered and want to leave, but when you ask someone over and the dog barks the entire time...well, it can get quite tiresome.  I don't know who annoys our guests more, the dog or us yelling at him to be quiet.

I've been around, just busy with these two kiddos.  Glad to have the good ole uncensored Peek back.

1.  Watch every episode of The Dog Whisperer.  This comes up a lot on the show.  He's got many good ideas about that very subject.

2.  At the Peekawho household, we encourage vicious barking when the doorbell rings or when people stop by.  We are loners, and do not want to encourage company.

Hey, its good to see you again, btw!  I thought you left forever!
