my cure for SVT

Hello all :)
I had SVT from the age of 13, long and violent episodes. 40 now, and cured. I cut down on all stimulants, started eating smaller and more frequent meals and stayed hydrated but by far the most important thing was cutting ASPARTAME AND PHENALYNINE from my diet ! Without question this was the deciding factor. Aspartame is an artificial sweetener also known by the number 951. Once I stopped using this stuff my SVT stopped completely and I haven't had an episode in 2 yrs !!!! from once every couple of days to nothing !! Keep an eye on all those additives and preservatives that are in foods these days, some of them are killers !! google it, u might be surprised. If anyone knows of any other food triggers I'd appreciate a heads up. Hope this helps. Get back to me :)

Forgot to add these triggers:

Sulfites
Nitrates

Don't know how I could have omitted these as both are huge triggers for me..

Possible Triggers:
MSG (all forms of it) autolyzed yeast extract, maltodextrin, gelatin, Carrageenan, etc.
Caffeine
Nicotine
Tyramine
Gluten (found in wheat products)
Dairy
this is just to name a few.
I no longer eat processed foods with the exception of a few organic items.

As a Rule of Thumb- If a product contains more than 5 ingredients or contains things I cannot pronounce I don't put it in my body period.

Years of not paying attention to what I did put in my body led to a-fib so now I am way more vigilant about what I eat and drink. ( I only drink water, low sodium V8, and apple juice)

When I was recovering from my EP Study in the hospital, the nurse came by to give me a snack. It was diet ginger ale and some graham crackers. I have to tell you I was really surprised by the diet soda. I'm not diabetic. I know diet soda can't be good for you and rarely drink it but this might be a good reason to give it up completely. Although I know it won't be the end of my problems, I'm happy that this has worked for you.
