Sparkly Skin

Hi,
I've been trying to identify a skin condition? that my boyfriend has. Similar to the vampire characters in the movie "Twilight", my boyfriend's skin literally sparkles. At first, I noticed a sparkle on his nose, but then I looked elsewhere and I realized both his arms sparkle as well...as does the rest of his body. The sparkles are very very small and very glittery. My boyfriend said that he's had this condition since he was young, but does not know what it is called. Maybe it is something related to sweat?

If you could tell me the name of this condition/disease..I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

It's dust mites.. There are 3 kinds that show up as sparkly on surfaces  and skin.. Mold mites

Its 2020 september and yesterday i found out that my hands and feet are also sparkling, the day before me and my friend where talking about spiritual stuff and i felt a weird shiver down my spine(idk if this is related)

The same thing has happened to me. It’s an energetic thing, beyond medical professionals. He is glistening. Many great healers have recorded accounts of the same thing. Jesus is an example. It’s in the Bible. Your boyfriend may just be loving and empathic. He likely has healing abilities. We are all radiating with a degree of light - we are electromagnetic energetically. He is too. It’s all connected.

Hi, I have always been a sweaty person aswell. And I notice sometimes after u have done something active or been sweating a lot, even when the sweat dries up and it's just slightly moist my body sparkles. My legs, chest and arms however these sparkling is particularly noticeable under light and most of it is on the palms of my hands and fingertips. I also don't look my age and people always assume I'm like 8 years younger than my actual age. Is this related ? Is it normal to sparkle? It's like clear and looks very light Beady or clear sparkly. Even after my sweaty finger tips touch a surface like the phone screen it sparkles. It started when I was around 19 and happens more in the winter months. Had it for four years roughly but it seems to get sparkler as I age and I get sweater aswell. It makes the skin look bright and makes your green veins show more brightly I have been told. It's not too noticeable to the normal eye but an intimate partner or you yourself may notice because you look at your skin more. It's sort of weird and it comes and goes. It's shiny almost like someone's poured silver/ clear glitter on me. I use to think it was because of bath bombs or I accidentally came in contact with sparkly items and it went on my skin..

sparkles....some say it is structure atomic level the component making up skin . some kids are born producing crystals and rocks as tears. it is the new evolution in DNA as carbon based structure is changing into silicone structure and the energetic storm in cosmos are changing our DNA. but some kids like your friend are already different in DNA structure. Ur friend has to dig for answers within. our doctors cannot help on this topic. stay away from fear...fear will not help in finding answers within.

Unfortunately I am not aware of any skin condition which can cause such sparkling of skin in normal individuals. The only conditions which I can think of us excessive production of oil or sebum on the skin by the sebaceous glands of the skin. In that case hyperhidrosis has to be ruled out.

Hello I have the same problem I sweat so much and I always look like I have glitter eye shadow all over my hands.and.face also both of my boys have hydrosis and dysautonomia

Also the kind of Dysautonomia they have is POTS also the glitter is all over my body and I sweat from my hands face arms legs and but my hands and fingertips constantly and dry mouth and constantly thirsty, and no I don't have diabetes or anything of that nature,also I have lost 85pounds so no it's not a weight issues so can someone please give me a guestament or an opinion or some kind of answer or direction please I would b ever grateful to them. I have this problem and I'm noticing its getting worse and worse. I don't sweet so no that's not the case apparently. I stay inside never go out. I'm seeing it also on a few friends. A few that is on opiods, a few that isnt. And  few that never ever done any drugs. I try to figure this out myself. But I can say its a hard one. I noticed my eyes are getting worse and worse At times.  seem to be irritated for 2 days then my whole body will be itching. Bloated everything irritating. Ears feel clogged sinus even get clogged. So really idk.

I’m starting to wonder if this is an Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome thing. Dysautonomia and immune issues, possibly MCAS? Whenever POTS and MCAS are involved it’s usually comorbid with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. EDS is a heterogeneous genetic mutation that affects collagen production. So the sparkly skin may be because of that. I figured it was probably an EDS thing when I googled it, but I don’t see many sources on it. Anyway, do you have hypermobile joints and/or abnormally soft/stretchy skin?
