Why does my pelvic area vibrate?

I've tried asking several friends why my pelvic area should vibrate and all I get is laughter. I was in a steak house restaurant and held a pager device down in front of me as I waited. It vibrated to let me know our table was ready and they told me it was the wrong table and had me step aside to continue to wait. I felt a strong vibration again and then looked down to my hands and realized I wasn't holding the device anymore because I had given it to the person preparing our table. That has been almost a month ago and it has still been doing it. I'm just wondering if that could be the cause, because that is the first time it had ever happened. It's driving me nuts!!!!!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Pelvic tremors can be due to PID or pelvic inflammatory disease (in females), compression of spinal nerves or due to pudendal neuralgia as an initiating symptom. Menopause and hormonal changes in females too can cause pelvic tremors. Please consult your gynecologist to start with. You may need to consult a neurologist too.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

It sounds like strong muscle spasms. Check with your family physician or ob/gyn to get checked out. Good luck!
