well we figured it out. it was the first time he was sick and he ended up having roseola which is common for babies. he is good now. no fever and no rash anymore
I'm pretty lucky actually, Lucy has has had a few colds, (and gastro) but nothing that has required medicene or anything other than a little extra breast milk. We ended up in emergency because we were worried about dehydration (with the gastro) and we stayed overnight and she turned out to be fine!
well mckenna has had an ear infection croup and serve asthma attacks ( that landed her in the Hasbro childrens for two days) and a few colds here or there ( see what happens when u have older children who bring it home from school :) . I would just say u can alternate mortin and tyelnol to help the fever stay down and just keep him comfy .
if he is stuffy elvate his mattress on one in the crib by placing somethig underneath it and run a humdifier ( sp?) or vaporizer that might help that is what we have to do with my lil peanut is he has running stuffy nose u can use blue blub syringe and gently suck the stuff out . ( it help is u mist them with lil saline nos spray "lil noses" that always seemed to help my peanut and watch for any ear pulling and such . i took mckenna back and forth to the doctor almost two weeks until they finally saw that she had an ear infection so sometimes it is so tricky with the lil ones who can really show u or tell u what is wrong
hope he feels better soon good luck

Hi,
Michaela only sick once with croup - she was admitted to the hospital with trouble breathing. Treatment was only supportive (meds to help her breathe), fluids, rest.
Other than that only some slight colds. Hard when our children are sick.
