Argh!

Once upon a time, some enterprising scientist developed a drug that gave a really great high. The drug was addictive, and people rapidly starting using it. However, the drug had a limitation on its social use -- the only way to effectively use it involved dissolving it into a solution and allowing the body to absolrb it directly through the intestinal walls. Worse, stomach acid would destroy the drug so it could not be taken orally.

Then, another chemist figured out a simple workaround. Chewing the leaves of a certain palm tree would permit the drug to be absorbed through the mouth.

Moral of this story?

With fronds like these, who needs enemas?
